Changing Minds announces the resignation of Ainslie Gee from her role as General Manager of the not for profit organisation at the end of the month.
Gee has worked for Changing Minds for 3 years and has steered the mental health advocacy organisation through a challenging landscape.
“It has been an absolute pleasure to lead this organisation, filled with a lot of fun, and surrounded by great and very talented people.” says Gee.
Ainslie’s passion for strengthening the voice of people who have been disempowered is demonstrated in her work and in her engagement with the wider Auckland community.
“Thank you for your help and patience as we continue to get clarity, and design what is next for the organisation.”
There will be a role available at Changing Minds that will work closely with existing staff and report to the Board of Trustees. More information about the role will be announced shortly, however the suitable person will need to embody the values of Changing Minds as well as carry out the strategic vision of the organisation.
