Your role will be to help us develop cultural practices that achieve effective outcomes for people with lived experience of mental health and/or addiction issues, initiate, develop and maintain effective and enduring relationships with Māori and Pasifika stakeholders and networks and support the organisation to be responsive to Māori and Pasifika with lived experience as well as their families and whānau.
You will be managed directly by our CEO and be working closely with our Kaumatua, Lived Experience Leadership Programme Coordinator, Communications and Events to ensure that tikanga is embedded in our organisational processes and culture, and help us develop training and resources that help people with lived experience to share their stories with mana and safety.
For the first three months of your engagement we will ensure you have a cultural mentor who can introduce you to the key relationships we partner with in our mahi.
