Speaking to the media about our personal experiences – especially those involving mental distress – can be both exciting and nerve-wracking.

Rākau Roroa, a Like Minds, Like Mine programme, recruits, trains, mentors and supports people who want to share their stories and projects around mental distress. Their ideas and conversations help to reduce discrimination, and promote social inclusion, of the one in two Kiwis who will experience distress in their lifetime.
