Breathing Space is a creative based programme for young people to express themselves, reflect on life, find their voice and grow their skills. 

 

Breathing Space aims to support youth who are struggling with school, mental health, isolation, relationships or caught up in a cycle of negative thinking and patterns of behaviour.

Come and join our community of creativity and add your own thoughts to our exhibition! 

We warmly invite you to come and work with our Breathing Space group at our regular creative art making workshops as we prepare for our exhibition. 

Our group and the team will guide you as we work with multiple different materials and styles to create our living creative community! 

No experience necessary, open to anyone, and child-friendly!

City of Tales Exhibition 

Friday 10th August 2018 

10am – 3pm, young artists kōrero 1pm 

Kaipatiki Youth Hub, 15 Chartwell Ave, Glenfield 

City of Tales is our latest exhibition and a culmination of the past 12 weeks of work. 

City of Tales is a mixed media sculptural installation featuring cardboard, clay, lego, paper, and chalk, that all come together to tell stories of our imagined cityscape. 

Our young artists will be showcasing their work at an exhibition and community sharing day on the 10th of August, and is open to the whole community and public.
