Changing Minds AGM 2021 | Webinar

On the 12th of August, we hosted our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to celebrate and share the impact of Changing Minds’ mahi in the last two years. This year we decided to bring the AGM online, so that we could reach our wider community across the motu and make it more accessible. The evening was a success and a reminder of why we do what we do: to use our own lived experiences for positive action. We are at a pivotal moment in history where the voice of Tāngata Mātau ā-whēakō - people with personal experience of mental distress and/or addiction, is needed to enable the type of transformation that will sustain the wellbeing of our tamariki, mokopuna and their generations to come.

Changing Minds in 2021 looks vastly different from the Auckland Regional Consumer Network of two decades ago, but stays true to the vision of those whose shoulders we stand on. We continue to be a trusted partner in brokering some of the relationships between lived wisdom and the systems that seek it. Driven by our passion and guided by our values, the board and team treasure your continued interest, involvement, and support.

He mana tō  te mātau ā wheako, me ka noho tonu – Our lived experience is a taonga, and always will be, our strength.
