Incredible donation to our wellbeing store

Changing Minds can’t do what we do without the support of others. It’s wonderful when the stars align and we get to work with an organisation like Shakti Mats whose values and wellbeing mission are so aligned with ours.

Just before Christmas, the team at Shakti Mats reached out to us with an incredibly generous offer – to donate some of their 'seconds' mats to Changing Minds for us to use in a way that will bring about positive change for our community while repurposing these mats with small imperfections.

We shared an early preview of our Wellbeing Shop in our December newsletter and we’re so thrilled to now be able to offer a Shakti Mat as a gift with the purchase of our Deluxe Wellbeing Gift Box. These Shakti Mats are a great addition to our most holistic wellbeing gift box, whether you are gifting to someone on their wellbeing journey or making time for your wellbeing.

When we break a bone or experience a physical illness, people send flowers or gifts, but often friends and family are unsure how to show they are thinking of us when our mental health is challenged. Our products are hand-picked by our Lived Experience team and include a range of products we appreciated, or would have liked to have during tough times.

100% of the proceeds from our store go back to our Changing Minds projects and enable us to give back to our Tāngata Mātau ā-wheako currently receiving inpatient treatment for their mental health.

Just before Christmas our team, with the help of our incredible Tall Tree Gayleen, delivered 100 gifts to people currently receiving treatment in an inpatient unit across Tāmaki Makaurau. It was lovely to hear that these small gestures brought a smile to those spending the holidays away from their whānau and homes.

If you want to support this mahi, we’d be delighted if you’d add the ‘buy one give one’ item to your cart in our online store. We’d love to be able to reach more Tāngata Mātau a-wheako, more often.
