Whakatau Mai Finalists at the Waitematā Health Excellence Awards

Changing Minds recently celebrated Whakatau Mai | The Wellbeing Sessions, by Changing Minds’ nomination at the Waitematā Health Excellence Awards. The awards are a chance to acknowledge, celebrate and showcase the outstanding mahi in the Waitematā district, that is done to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Whakatau Mai was nominated for Excellence in Primary and Community Care alongside Health outreach services for vulnerable people in managed accommodation, The Fono Trust – ‘Integrated Model of Care’ and Tū Whakaruruhau - Auckland Wellbeing Collaborative.

The Excellence in Primary and Community Care category is for healthcare organisations, teams or individuals who have implemented innovative solutions to provide care closer to home and improve access, outcomes and well-being in the community.

Congratulations to David Todd, David Codyre, Helen Wood, Sarah Travaglia and the team at Tū Whakaruruhau for winning this category.
